Types of Treatment

What types of treatment do you provide?

It is completely natural to want to improve our appearance because our appearance is a major factor in our level of self confidence. Today, huge numbers of people are taking advantage of non-surgical cosmetic treatments in order that they stay and feel younger and more attractive. These treatments are not just for celebrities; they are for everyone who wants a real impact on their lives.

Non-surgical cosmetic treatments are now a really affordable option for enhancing your appearance.

Fineline Dermal Filler
By making use of the best methods and the best products like Fineline real achievements can be made that work from within the skin, proven achievements for reducing the appearance of lines and wrinkles and in providing shape and definition to the face.

Signs of ageing and narrowing lips can be disheartening and can detract from your whole appearance. The more traditional options like moisturiser or make-up can only conceal so much. There are times when the use of too much make-up intended to hide lines actually brings attention to the problem.

Treatments are long-lasting but not permanent; maintenance will be required, generally on a six to nine monthly basis but this will be down to the individual. Areas that can easily be treated are as follows:

•Crow’s Feet
•Smile Lines
•Frown Lines
•Worry Lines
•Creases Between The Eyebrows
Fineline treatment involves the precise injection into the areas identified for improvement. We offer local anaesthetic cream to reduce the sensation of the injection; however, most people feel little or no discomfort. We only use fine disposable syringes and adhere to strict infection control protocols.

Sclerotherapy (Thread Vein Removal)
Sclerotherapy is a non-surgical treatment for removing thread veins from the legs. The process involves injecting a solution into the vein using a very fine needle. This will eventually cause the vein to collapse and fade away. Smaller thread veins are easier to treat; therefore it is better to have Sclerotherapy treatment at an early stage.

Thread (or spider) veins are the tiny red or blue vessels that run close to the surface of the skin and are commonly found on the thighs, around the knees, on the calves and around the ankles. They can arrive without warning and their presence can be attributed to lifestyle, diet, excessive exposure to sun and hereditary factors. Hormonal changes that are associated with pregnancy and menopause are also thought to promote their development.
More or less everybody gets thread veins as we age. They are more commonly found in women – around one woman in five in her 20′s has thread veins and this figure continues to increase thereafter.

At the first visit, the clinic will provide expert consultation and should be able to advise on the number of treatments required and the approximate cost. The number of treatments will depend on the number of veins, their size and location.

Following treatment, small-inflamed patches will be visible and these will subside within a few days. There may be some skin discolouration but this will fade away gradually within 2 – 3 months. Other side effects are extremely rare and this will be explained during consultation.
