FAQ

What types of treatment do you provide?

It is completely natural to want to improve our appearance because our appearance is a major factor in our level of self confidence. Today, huge numbers of people are taking advantage of non-surgical cosmetic treatments in order that they stay and feel younger and more attractive. These treatments are not just for celebrities; they are for everyone who wants a real impact on their lives.

Non-surgical cosmetic treatments are now a really affordable option for enhancing your appearance. Our treatments begin from as little as €150.

We only used the two most popular European Brands of product, Restylane and Juvederm.

Fineline Dermal Filler
By making use of the best methods and the best products like Fineline real achievements can be made that work from within the skin, proven achievements for reducing the appearance of lines and wrinkles and in providing shape and definition to the face.

Signs of ageing and narrowing lips can be disheartening and can detract from your whole appearance. The more traditional options like moisturiser or make-up can only conceal so much. There are times when the use of too much make-up intended to hide lines actually brings attention to the problem.

Treatments are long-lasting but not permanent; maintenance will be required, generally on a six to nine monthly basis but this will be down to the individual. Areas that can easily be treated are as follows:

• Crow’s Feet
• Smile Lines
• Frown Lines
• Worry Lines
• Creases Between The Eyebrows

Fineline treatment involves the precise injection into the areas identified for improvement. We offer local anaesthetic cream to reduce the sensation of the injection; however, most people feel little or no discomfort. We only use fine disposable syringes and adhere to strict infection control protocols.

What is “Dermal Filler”?

“Dermal Filler” is a non-invasive anti-ageing treatment which works in a subtle and gentle way. “Dermal Filler” consists of stabilised Hyaluronic Acid, a non-animal natural substance that is already found in the human body. We use “Dermal Filler” in gel form which is injected into the skin to restore youthful shape and replacing volume that has been lost over the years.

How is “Dermal Filler” different to “Botox”?

“Botox” (Botulinium Type A) acts by blocking the impulse from the nerve to the muscles whereas “Dermal Filler” is a far simpler and a 100% natural product.

How long will the effects last?

Experience shows that “Dermal Filler” is effective for six to nine months. Together with your practitioner, you can draw up a plan for regular follow-up treatments to maintain the initial result. “Dermal Filler” provides a long-lasting but not permanent result.

Does it hurt?

For nearly all treatments pain relief is not required but can easily be arranged at your request. Before treatment it is usual for a topical anaesthetic cream to be applied to the area that is to be treated in a similar fashion to preparation for a tattoo. Local anaesthetics can be chosen and carried out by a fully qualified nurse.

How long does the treatment take?

“Dermal Filler” can be administered almost immediately and without allergy testing which means that a treatment can be done in a matter of minutes, however, it is the policy of Before Then After to ensure that a full consultation is carried out and that the client is completely aware of, and comfortable with, the treatment.

Are there any side effects?

Most clients experience a little redness around the area that has been treated; some have a little swelling or light bruising. Any discomfort is temporary and will have disappeared within two or three days.

How much does it cost?

In the UK you would expect to pay around £200 for one area to be treated and in the region of £350 for two areas. At “Before Then After” you can expect to pay €150 for one area and €250 for two areas. After currency conversion you will notice a saving of around 40%.
